Interesting Dilbert comic post this morning...

...personally and high on the WAF today are the single and double taps on my UPB switches.

UPB single tap and double taps are well established habits for our whole family.

Single tap to turn on/off an individual light - double tap to turn on/off the room/scene.

My only complaint about the Lutron switches (not the dimmers) is they won't accept a fast double-tap as a 'full on' like the dimmers.  Nope, they're switches, so any press is a toggle.  Not really a big deal, though, as I don't use them anywhere anyone else would be operating them and think to use the double-tap.  But I use them and it bugs me, just a bit...

I should also point out that Logitech's screen-less Harmony remotes also support overloading some of the buttons with the press/long-press functionality.  One session using that told me, ixnay on that idea and get a screen-based remote in there, post-haste.
