An artificial intelligence program called Mark took on a human bean called Wang Yucheng in a facial recognition contest in China.

Mr Wang is known for his astonishing memory, which came to light on a reality television show. "Mark" was developed by a group affiliated to Alibaba, China's largest e-commerce company, which is developing facial recognition software.
