Controls Database is out of date ERROR

I just updated my RP program to 2.0.34 and my M1G to 5.3.10.  I when trying to launch my account, I keep getting an error message saying "The controls database is out of date.  An update is available.  Do you want to update it now?".  If I hit yes, I get another error "unable to open temporary database, possibly because there was a disk drive error".  If I hit no several times, I eventually get the program to work just fine.  Annoying to have to go through this every time I launch RP2.

Anyone seen this or have any ideas?  Doing same thing on 2 computers.

I would try uninstalling and re-installing RP. First export yur user account so that you can import it into the new installation. You might even try installing the legacy version 1.6 of RP which yo can get at the Elk web site

Mike, that did it.  I had re-installed before, but had not uninstalled first.  When I did the uninstall then re-install, it started working correctly again.

Thanks!!!
