Anything else to check before I replace my Omnistat/2?

Within the past week it appears my Omnipro can no longer talk to one of my Omnistat/2 RC-2000s.  With no changes to either programming, setup, or wiring it now reads zero for temp and humidity, I can no longer control the temperature remotely, and it no longer notices when the security system changes to day/night/etc.

I took it off the wall, checked the comm jumper was still set.
I then took my RC-2000 off the wall downstairs and plugged it in upstairs.  The omnipro was able to read it and control the temperature, leading me to believe the wiring is ok.
I checked in pcaccess and the thermostat is configured. I then rewrote the entire omnipro configuration.

Is there anything else I should check before assuming the comm module on the omnistat died somehow?
