Turn off Elk siren on water sensor

I have been putting in water leak/flood sensors that are tied in with my Elk alarm panel.   Unfortunately, when it detects a leak, it triggers the siren.  That seems like severe overkill.  How do I set it to not wake up the neighborhood because my basement got a little wet?

I set the zone silent alarm option and then have  a rule that beeps the keypad and announce a message instead.

Use a zone definition of 13 or 14 (Aux1 or Aux2) rather than 25 (Water Alarm).  Aux1 and Aux2 won't sound the siren, but will be logged.  You'll then need to write some rules to preform whatever notification action you desire (e.g send an e-mail or make a voice announcement).
