going to try a different switch..see how that goes...chip replacement is over my head...thought that my board (5 port) allows for firmware upgrade via PC Access...
There are two LEDs between the serial ports left one is steady on / right one is blinking
but.....
my setup is that i have my router out in the middle of my basement (out in the middle of the house for better coverage) and all my computer equipment is in the corner where my omni is installed...
will check board LEDs...plugged into switch...router is way too far away...I'll try different ports as well...ty...
looking at used boards on ebay...what am i looking for for the easiest swap...are all versions of the board interchangeable?

I had no IP input at all. pulled IP off MQTT log, input and voila!

Attempting to upgrade my HA experience without uprooting the OPII infrastructure already in place (UPB switches etc).
Installed the bridge and installed MQTT (as best as I can tell correctly)
below is the log file (fresh restart) from the OmniLink indicating an error connecting with the host...
ok solved...
spoke to my office IT guy...he's like..yeah..static IP not going to show in the client list.....you need to do a manual add..
brought the old router back up...copied MAC address.....manually added MAC address and plugged the IP and viola..
sorry if you all assumed that i had...
quick update...
brought the old router back on line...went through all the LAN settings and firewall setting..everything matches the new router
still non luck..
in an interesting twist..
I can ping the IP address of of the OPII even though it doesn't show on my router's client list !
