    Prewire Naming Convention

    no matter what naming convention you use, get a GOOD tone generator / probe. It will save you time and time again. I also use the method stated above, I mark blueprints. However, I don't have "data" or "voice" drops, CAT5e runs can be either if terminated properly.

    RC 2000 Brightness problem

    the thermostat requires 24vAC, if you connected the thermostat "C" to the chassy of the furnace / blower, you are connecting it to a 120vAC GROUND ... I am suprised that it lasted that long. You need to go up there with a multimeter and find out where the transformer "COMMON" is and use that one!

    50 Occupancy Sensors???

    I can speak for the Spy4 sensors, I have been bench testing 8 of them for the last three weeks, and I gotta say that I am impressed!! btw, FIRST POST WITH NEW HANDLE!! ;)
