Thanks guys, the Brultech device actually looks like it would serve my needs pretty well. I'd be happier if it had 8 channels, though... then I could monitor my 7 loads, plus the whole house... but I can still keep the TED for the whole house. Or I could monitor each heat pump with it's blower...
I've been using a TED for several years now to monitor my whole house power usage, but now I'm interested in trying to figure out exactly what is using that power in hopes of helping to conserve more. If I can figure out where my big draws are, then I can concentrate there to help reduce my...
I just happened to stumble across this on Amazon. I have no idea why these $50 remotes are selling for $6, but I picked up 6 of them in hopes of replacing some of my older Palm Pads as I move more and more away from X10.
I've never used one, but the reviews seem OK and you can't go wrong for...
For me, at least, that *is* the draw. I'm trying to replace my Tivo with Sage and I wanted a way to get all my TV content available on Sage so that my wife and other people at my house can easily watch whatever they want. Even though Sage is running on a PC, exiting or minimizing sage and...
Yugster has PlayOn (http://www.playon.tv) available here... http://www.yugster.com/dspPriv.aspx?aid=CD7049&cid=2323 for $19.97. Use coupon code YUGSAVE5/20 to bring it down to $14.97.
This can be used with a plugin to show Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and other VOD content on Sage TV and on game...
I don't know that I can help much, but I can tell you that you do need to connect the reverse valve. That's what allows a heat pump to cool or heat. Different brands operate different ways, but you will either need to energize the reverse valve or not energize it to allow it to cool. Make...
You should be fine with a single band system. AT&T does use both 850MHz (800MHz) and 1900MHz, however you only need to get a signal on one or the other... the phone doesn't need both bands to work. In fact, if you have a phone that supports both bands it only uses the one it can get the best...
I simply installed a junction box and outlet in the wall. I suspect that's probably not to code, but I don't loose sleep over it.
The only other thing I've seen people suggest is to install an enclosure like one of thses...

hehe... um... as soon as those pages actually exist I'll post a couple of pics:) This TS is still a work in progress right now and what you see up there is pretty much all I have at the moment. I still need to create the HVAC and Power page and I also need to put the security status on there...
That's pretty impressive. I haven't found any dimmable (or otherwise) CFL's that will work with any two wire dimmer... including an HA06. What brand are the blubs that you're using?
Unfortunately you will probably never get a CF bulb to work with a two wire (no neutral) automated switch, and I believe that the HA06 is a two wire dimmer. The switch needs power to operate and two wire switches take their power through the filament of the bulb. That just won't work with a CF...
