ElkDroid Released to Android Market (ABANDONED)

I'd like to thank Kent for his work on resolving my issue with dimming of Leviton DHC devices using extended codes. Kent, working with Elk, was able to identify the causative issues and make the appropriate changes to his program to accommodate the sending of these extended commands required for...

ElkDroid Released to Android Market (ABANDONED)

Hi... Just downloaded app today. Running on Samsung EPIC from Sprint. All's well so far BUT I have Leviton DHC switches that use "extended" dimming and thats how they are configured in RP / M1G. So my issue is that dimming doesn't work when I change the sliders on your application... Brian...

    False Alarm Problem

hi.... if you disconnect these zones from the M1 and measure their resistance, keeping in mind the supervision resistance, what do you get?

Elk or HAI and interior door sensors

It really depends on how far you want to take security and automation.... Somewhere between one door switch, one PIR and a whole house full of them is the right place for YOU to be. Some people want to know the status of everything at all times. Try and keep it simple, if your wiring the home...

    False Alarm Problem

We need to break down this problem.... Is it only these two zones? If you swap these with another zone location on the M1 will the problem follow? Are these supervised zones (ie: have a resistor at the detector)? Checked the resistance? Have you checked the closed resistance of the wire...

    False Alarm Problem

When you say triggers a false alarm what do you mean? Are sirens always going off? Does the keypad(s) always indicate a violation has occurred? Is it calling a central station? etc you mention "Report shows the Garage Entry and Front Door Entry zones" AND? Brian

    TED5000 interfered with my insteon

The people who make TED are operating in their own little world. Creating a a product that communicates in this way is, in my opinion, irresponsible. These PLC frequencies were in use long before their product arrived. the device could have been designed to coexist with existing PLC type units...

    ELK Burglar interior zone question

What you've said makes sense but apparently it doesn't work quite that loosely.... There appear to be two ways to deal with this... Quick Bypassing of Violated Zones (Optional) The Quick Bypass feature allows you to bypass all violated zones with a minimum number of keystrokes. * [see notes...

Whole house power monitor w/built in ethernet

I'm looking for a higher end whole house, realtime power consumption device that is similar to the brutech or TED but I want it to have built in Ethernet functionality (rather than through zigbee) also a little less bleeding edge, something with a longer track record.... I've see some high end...

    2 way audio/voice module hummmmm

you will probably require a small matching transformer to eliminate the hum. Unless the 2 way module output is specifically designed to connect to an amplifier and provides isolation you'd have a problem...
