Going w/ Zigbee over Z-wave.. any thoughts?

ahh.. cool cool. wow, awesome man. ill look into this .. great stuff!     Yeh, all that considered, Zibee seems to complicate my options.. unless i stick to 1 manufacturer, w/c i don't want to do. I am slightly starting to consider 433 devices though as they seem to be way way cheaper...

Going w/ Zigbee over Z-wave.. any thoughts?

Actually this is my aim, LEARN and MASTER "a technology" , then perhaps start a business of dealership of the tech. But I don't want to be wasting time on a tech if i cant take it to the next level. Specially since I am determined to develop my own GUI/Software for it (nothing beats custom made)...

How many watts does the Z-wave radio operate on?

Hi i'm trying to see if Z-wave frequency is legal in my country and what are the restrictions. I know the range (100m) but part of the specifications that would be considered is the wattage equivalent = transmission power (?)  . Im not too familiar w/ this.    regards

    Zigbee's 2.4Ghz Frequency = universally legal?

I wanted to bring some zwave into the Philippines and play w/ it and perhaps do a little selling/teaching on it etc.. but i'm concerned about the legalities of it. if 2.4Ghz is a free frequency then i would probably have less to worry about w/ zigbee. then again, zigbee options are so limitted...
