Tasker rocks - get it. A bit complicated and I'm still learning, but very very cool. Swype also rocks. i never use the physical keyboard anymore. But if the device doesn't come with it you'll probably have to hack it on somehow as the Swype beta is closed.

Unfortunately it seems all the manufacturers are moving was from "stock Android" to have their customizations. Anyway, I've had my Moto Droid (1) since they came out and love it. -Chak

I say this hesitantly as it hasn't happened for about 8 months - but we used to get noise spikes that I am completely convinced came from outside the home. They would prevent the UPB from traversing phases in the house. Quite annoying, and unpredictable. Now I knock on wood :) -Chak

I'm searching for a USB to RJ45 adapter. The length needed is under the 16' for USB so a passive device would work fine. Active ones are in the $100 range - and I'm think this should be a $15 item. I probably could make one, but that would likley cost me more in time than a simple adapter...
