I actually was looking into this today for a client and chatted with DSC support. The IT-100 in NOT compatible with the NEO series. According to DSC, you would need to use the TL280.
I believe the Omni will keep trippIng as long as the smokes are tripped. I used too much smoke on a head before and it tripped on and off for a period of 5 minutes or so.
