This is a very good thread. I just started the Openhab learning curve. Any status updates from the participants in this thread? 

I don't think so. For now I'm sticking with Milestone. I like the retrieval system more. One issue is slightly annoying though. Scheduling doesn't have a +- sunset/sunrise option.

I ended up buying Blue Iris when I had trouble getting Milestone to completely work. Then I discovered Blue Iris eats up CPU resources. Went back to Milestone and got it working. It doesn't eat up CPU resources like Blue Iris. Can't beat free.

I figured it out by installing BlueIris. I needed to use port 80. Even though I installed the Essentials version it is telling me I'm in a 30 day trial. I thought this version is now free.

Seeing this thread I downloaded and installed Milestone XProtect Essentials. I only have 3 Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras. The auto config didn't see the cameras and adding manually gets stuck on "connecting". The cameras are set to port 8000. Did you guys have trouble adding cameras?

Just got a last minute email from Alarmrelay about my communicator no longer working 12/31/16. They called it final warning. It was also the first warning.

I'm at the end of my first year with Alarm Relay and the service has been fine. My problem is the renewal bill. They are billing me $9.95/month for the monitoring where everyone else gets $8.95/month and they are billing $12/month for the cellular backup when they normally charge $8.00/month.  

After updating to the latest firmware I stopped getting emails for every zone trip. It didn't bother me getting those. Now I wish they would add the option to send emails to the email board to control stuff. I think that would make everyone happy.

My solution was to forget about Liftmaster. I went with Genie IntelliG 1200/SilentMax 1200. They still use contact closure to operate. You can even keep the contact closed to simulate the lock feature.  

Is this a low priority or no priority?

Just tested again. After about 3 minutes the app froze. Stayed frozen for 5 minutes until I exited the app. Went back into the app and there was no HAI data. Exited the app and went back in and everything was back to normal.  

 Both and if I wait, later I can get into other parts of Haiku.

I contacted the manufacturer and they gave me this URL http://username:[email protected]/Streaming/Channels/102/httpPreview That worked to get video but Haiku freezes up after minute or 2.  I used the Hikvision app iVMS-4500 HD that uses H264 and it doesn't freeze up.

I just bought Haiku and my first task is adding a Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I camera. The camera manufacturer wants me to use a rstp url but apparently that is not supported. The URL to the web interface is http://x.x.x.x/doc/page/main.asp. Using that in Haiku, I get "HTTP/1.1 200 OK Please verify...
