when i arm or disarm my M1G i get a buzz that acknowledges that action. then mysteriously that changed to a chime style tone...  now its back to the Buzz... anyone know whats going on or how i can set this?  

I run my ELK and HS equip thru a UPS so i dont get an alert when AC power fails...  is there a relay i could get to plug into non-backup outlet,  simple on off power that i could tie into my Elk output?

it was sporadic. i liked the systems and the interface. but have to find a way for manual control as well as HS control.

i want to install new control. have Homeseer and ELK M1G i want something that is automated byut also a way for it to be run manually at the site. i ran rain 8 and mcs sprinkler in my old house. mixed results. thoughts?

does elk have any interface with a caller id unit so i can get emails with caller id when there are calls. i had a net caller id unit a while ago, they dont make them anymore. i want to get an email via homeseer or elk when i geta call with the number. thanks

anyone have experience with ceiling fans? i have a few i want to rig for zwave. they are simple on/off... but i want to get one or two that have variable speeds... any thoughts on switches and fan units?

i have overhead room fans... on/off with speed control at the fan itself... can i use a standard zwave light switch to control on/off?

what are best zwave thermostats to use with Elk M1G?
