I did run. I ran right to insteon and have never had a problem. Sure I had 3 switches out of 35 replaced but that was 3 years ago. You can have your opinion now but I have mine. There may have been problems, I am not denying that. I have had none to speak of.

I took a look at UPB and do understand they seem to be fairly reliable but the paddles and other pieces look archaic and kind of crappy looking. I like the look of the insteon stuff much better. Just my opinion.

I think anyone that gets their newest stuff will be very happy with it. I have not had anything fail in the last two years. The 3 switches I had that failed were the ones that most complained about. I don't see many if any people complaining about it at all anymore. Do you? If so, where?

It does not have to be a wireless intercom either. Anything that will work with an always on but the other end must be able to answer back.
