Thanks, I'm just not sure what I should be cutting and where. I figured it out on the WS467, but this one is hard to tell.

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

BLH, here's an interesting test I just did. Remember that WS467 applicance module you helped me mod? I put that into the stock outlet as a test. Turns on/off, no led pulsing! How funny is that?

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

Correct, if I ever moved out, I'd need to put gfi back in to meet code, But yea, play it safe with the extension cord, then I could keep all that junk out of site from that outlet and use an appliance module I think... Still want to see if there is something to cut inside the sr227 to see if it...

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

This is in an area that I can't put a night light in. In this case, there is no issue turning the leds on and off, it works every time. Just the led flicker when off. My issue last week was getting thigns to turn on/off, now this. lol. So, the instructions online, some say cutting that diode...

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

I read of a fix by cutting a diode that will stop flicker of CFL, would it fix the flicker for LED? See reply near bottom: http://www.x10community.com/marko/2006/06/disabling_the_local_control_fe.html

http://cocoontech.com/forums/topic/25399-replacing-existing-outlet-with-an-x10-sr227-questions/#entry244044 I have a strip of leds controlled by an X10 Sr227 wall outlet. The leds flicker when off every few seconds. Are you telling me I have to do the same thing with the night light to stop the...

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

Thanks, well, I just hooked it up as a test. The x10 outlet I have, has the top outlet that is controlled liked mentioned. I have a led strip that is plugged into it but when I switch it OFF, the led flickers every few seconds. Crap. I read about this problem before with leds.

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

It's in a bathroom, I have led lights under a vanity and would rather use this, than an appliance module. I don't use a hairdryer, etc. just looking to keep thinks sleek. I could install a seconds outlet inside the vanity cabinet, but really don't want to do that,.

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

Thanks, the other thing I can do is put an applicance module in the outlet, but that's going to look ugly.

Replacing existing outlet with an x10 sr227... Questions..

Is it a big deal to replace a gfi with an sr227? I don't really care about the protection of the gfi in its location.

    Controlling Hunter Douglas shades

Ok, the way to fix a blind that when it's halfway UP when batteries are dead (pre 2.0 powerrise) is to pull down on it while hitting the down button multiple times, until you get the shade fully to the BOTTOM. Then it will reset itself and work like normal!

x10-compatible appliance module that DOESN'T pulse power?

Darn, didn't work. Looks like I'm going to need to add the led night light, to get more current in there. What's the best way to do that with this module. Get a cube, with two plugs, and then plug in my device and the nightlight? Just trying to see best way to fit it in. I did same thing with...

Ok, finally found it and cut jumper. See pic. Will re-assemble and test again. There is only one jumper it seems, so this must be it.
