YAY...HAI fixed this issue in OPII V3.14.1.759 and Omnitouch 7 firmware version 1.7.  There are now blind Icons and the status of blinds is UP and Down instead of on and off.  Only problems is, they haven't upgraded Snaplink to match, but I'm sure it's coming soon.

When connecting an RC-2000 to an OPII controller, the manual says to run a yellow wire from the RC-2000 to the positive terminal on zone 16 of the OPII.  The manual doesn't say how to define that zone in the OPII.  Should I leave the zone type on zone 16 set to auxiliary, or change it to...

Yes, the light turns off when the button is pressed.  I'm still new to the OP 2, but I'm pretty sure there's no way to make it trigger faster.

Yes... there are only two wires.  The loop, goes from 124 (Secure) to 0 (Not Ready) when the button is pressed (and held), which does trigger an event.  I must have had a different set up when I saw 10 on the loop.  Not to get off on another topic, but do you know what the secure/not...

Sorry about that... my drawing is wrong.   The auxiliary 12v is on the negative terminal, not the positive.

BraveSirRobin,   Best I can tell you, there's a small circuit board inside the switch.  Somehow the LED is bypassing the switch through that board. The loop reads 10 when the switch is open and the LED is on.

I have read through the ELK 930 data sheets.  I don't see anywhere that it says that the 930 holds the switch closed long enough for the OP2 to recognize it.  Since everyone recommends it, I guess it must.
