Yes, customer wants it touch-free, ie drive up and the gate opens. There has to be some iphone geofencing application that can be used or a way to use an iBeacon.

No, not just any car. Looking for something tied to homeowners phone or some other proximity device in homeowners car (ibeacon?) to activate a relay at gate opener. I'm surprised have not been able to find anything like this.

I've been looking for a proximity triggered gate opener and am very interested in the iBeacon setup. Do you actually have this working? Has it been reliable? Possible to have an iBeacon at the gate opener with some controller triggering a relay?
