Hey guys...looking for a little help here.
I have a Supermicro I7 rackmount server that I use for my surveillance stuff.

Performance is great but as you can imagine, the fans are quite loud.
I was thinking about getting a...
Hey Pete. Long time no talk. I'm still around and the grandstream cams are running great here too. I might pick up a 3674 for a new location here and check that out.
I was looking at the newer MX890...really nice.
I just can't stand the fact that I can't set it up though.
I may have to get the Harmony Ultimate for my wiring closet just because there's really nothing else to choose from!
I think you mentioned previously moving your cams to a separate network.
I was considering trying this if the HD cams cause too much of a traffic issue.
I'm just not sure if the network would necessarily suffer and at what point.
I had noticed that too with the lens.
I lost a lot of detail...
I've got all my cams packed up right now and the house is already stripped to the frame.
Thinking about some HD domes for the house when its done.
I did notice before we moved out that Blue Iris was really getting laggy with 4 HD...
Yeah I did check that. The gxv3611_HD is the one at that price. I wanted those for indoor use.
That gxv3662 is the ip66 rated one and is real nice but more than I need and too expensive.
I will try those steps tonight hopefully...thanks.
Actually I just found both on there. There's a Grandstream on there for 155!
I'm always interested. I'm awaiting a quote for a couple of domes now and hope to get those ready for install during the build.
I heard back from ubiquiti and they want me to try the tftp thing so I'll try. It...
I sent UBNT an email about my Aircam not reseting so we'll see how it goes.
I'm also looking forward to trying out those Grandstream dome cams.
I have a couple of Foscams I want to replace.
That and a Grandstream to replace the last outdoor Foscam.
The two that I have work great. I haven't...
My thoughts were to start by putting the receivers in the closet.
The reason was so that in those rooms I could just have the flat screen on the wall with nothing around it.
It would be just DTV at first but I want to be ready for other future media sharing options and smart tv options as well.
I actually have one of the clients and the Genie right now and its ok but I have a couple of issues.
First being that we're limited to how many clients can be run on one system...I think the max is 4.
Also, the client doesn't perform as well as the regular HD recievers. I think it probably...
Getting ready for a big rebuild here at home and this is what I'm looking for...tks
I've seen powered IR hubs and other setups but it seems like alot of these newer 1 wire extenders take care of all needs.
Is that accurate or is it prefered to take care of IR seperately?
I'm looking at...
My only concern so far would be how well they will hold up outdoors but I am happy with them otherwise.
My Aircam on the other is having major issues right now. After a blackout, I lost access to the aircam.
When running the discovery tool, I find it and the ip info is correct along with all...
