    What do you use home automation for (vs home control)?

    I'm brand new to this whole deal, but am wanting to have the logic programming control. What is everyone using for equipment and software. This is beyond my abilities right now, but I want to be able to when the time is right.

    Thanks for the replies. Larry, a neutral in every lighting box is required by code now. It is a good reminder as is deep boxes. I'll have to look at the elk and ????? Marriage, I was looking at insteon for the mesh connectivity. How do they compare.
