I have same setup and bought a GE 45601 on Amazon for $15. It too comes up as unknown device, but I got as far as having it turn on and off ALL the devices on the network. Very bizarre to have every light and house fans come on at the same time... After putzing for better part of an hour trying...

for 16 windows and 4 doors, it's way too much trouble than it's worth to retrofit EOL. Just do the Normally Open / Normally Closed option at the panel for each zone.. If the sensors and wiring is in good shape, forget the EOL.

It refers to the status the sensor is in "un alarmed" state. So when the magnet is near the sensor, its in it's "normal" state, and therefore closed. Heres another example.. my sump pump has a float switch. The 'normal" state for it is OPEN, so its a Normally Open switch. When the water level...
