I'd look at NextPVR for the backend. Runs on both Windows and Linux. Seems stable and the community reminds me a bit of the Sage community. I'm fairly certain that that's where I will end up.

Pete - What did you do to get UPStart to run on PlayOnLinux? Mine keeps crashing. What version of Wine is it using and is it 32-bit or 64-bit? I need to make some changes to my dimmers, but I'm running Debian on my server.

You do good work :) I'm impressed with the smooth migration.

I wouldn't.  RG6 presents an impedance of 75 Ohms.  That might be too much of a load on your amp.  Plus the speaker switchers are usually impedance matching and may not handle that well.    Have you considered using the 2 RG6 cables to pull through a 4 conductor speaker wire?
