I have an OmniProII and lately every couple days I am getting a "phone dead" or "phone trouble" message. I have a cellular box instead of a landline. Is there some way to get a message sent to my phone or keep a log of when it goes down? I don't want to keep having to set off the alarm to test...
Looks like we just had to install a upb repeater. Everything works fine now.
Question though: I plan on adding more 600 watt dimmer switches to my system. I am not sure if they installed just regular 35a00 switches or also auxiliary switches. Have alot of three way lighting in the house...
So I got ahold of the installers that originally did everything and they were able to remotely log into my system. What happened is when I tried to upgrade to version 3.13 something glitched and reset EVERYTHING. The problem is that I stupidly bought PC USER Access not Dealer, which meant that I...
For whatever reason when I reverted the system to 3.11D, the IPs and master code reset anyways. It almost seems like something went screwy. I was thinking of doing and EEPROM reset anyways since I already know all the settings.
UPB coupler is that little grey box that plugs into an outlet...
Hi there! So everything has been working great on my end, got the stupid thermostat issue fixed (grumble grumble stupid failsafe switch). I've been consistent with doing the updates for the system but something odd has been happening lately with the lighting.
Currently running omnipro ii 3.13...
So we checked the thermostat voltage: Nada! We turned off the lights upstairs in the adjacent room and unplugged some electronics that are always on and we got 3vac....so yeah. the thermostat works and is wired correctly but this part of the house was wired by a drunk. Calling an electrician...
The wiring looks fine. I attached a picture. When you mess with the thermostat it works fine. I turned the fan on in the game room and the thermostat instantly went out. The fan is directly below the Ac system so I don't doubt someone wiring it lazily. The xbox has been plugged in all day but...
I'm hesitant to call the company that installed it because if it's a wiring problem on my end, it technically is not their fault.
This house has had some work done in the past by previous owners and they admit some things were done wonky. Supposedly some outside lights were hot wired into the...
I guess I assumed it would have a comm failure (and show a connection issue) instead of turning off completely. Like the screen dies and is non responsive, cannot even use it as a regular thermostat.
I just wanted to clear that up. I realize now how tired I was when I wrote this post.
Sorry forgot to include that. It's zig bee (we have the little monitor hooked up to the omnipro.) Left the xbox physically unplugged yesterday and today and it worked fine. Assumption currently is that too many electronics drawing power causing a brownout.
I'm still learning the ins and outs of the whole system, so please bear with my newbness. We had an OmniproII professionally installed around 2 months ago. They also installed 3 Omnistat2 thermostats. Everything was working fine, until my husband got his new Xbox One.
Since then, the upstairs...
one minute after stage 4, it says connection to controller interrupted
edit: I am currently at my parents house trying to connect to their controller (firmware 3.10A) via pc access, which it keeps saying it wont. So I am starting to suspect something wrong with whole setup. Unfortunately since...
