    WC32 Breakout boards?

Hello All,   I have been away for a bit but have been looking around to see if any PCB adaptor boards are available yet for the WC32? I am looking for an easy way to switch a WC8 out with a WC32.   Thanks, Tim

Need help to send temperature reading from CAI Webcontrol to ISY 994i

Try url1 without the port number. Your get uri looks fine. If your base 64 autho. is wrong that will prevent the updates as well.   The other thing is that the isy will not process any number with a period in it. I cant remember is wc8 sends the temp as say 96.9 or as 969. If it sends as 96.9...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

CAI_Support,   I installed the firmware last night in 2 WC8 that have been giving me trouble. The WC8 that has 8 temp sensors has been running fine and TDSO is still set for 8. The WC8 that has 2 temp sensors (one mounted on the temp sensor connector and 1 on 6 feet of cat5) rebooted 30 minutes...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

Larry brought up some good things I should probably mention. The board does webset a lot to my ISY. Sometimes as much as every 2 seconds other times every 15 seconds or so. I have tried the termination resistors in the past but didn't seem to change anything. I will be happy to try any new...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

I have 8 sensors on one board. The length of wire (cat5) does vary from 1 inch to 25 feet. I ran it all long before I read that it should be the same lengths. TDSO is set to 8 which gave me less sensor trouble emails from the Plc code I added to monitor sensor status. I am willing to try...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

Hi, Sorry...   3.02.18B4 and TDSO I have set at 8 which was giving me less temp sensor errors than 3-7 setting was.

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

Although I haven't seen the weird graphic displays any longer I am still having trouble with random reboots. I am positive it has to do with either the different lengths of cable for each temp sensor or noise. I have isolated the wiring so I don't believe it is noise.   Question. If I go into...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

The wc8 is still rebooting every couple of weeks. I added code to send an email upon temp sensor fail. I will typically get 4 or 5 emails before the unit reboots. Last night t5 showed failed up until the reboot. But other times it is a different sensor...in other words it not always the same...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

Hi, thanks for checking. It ran great for a week but I had to remove power to service something else. It will be a couple of weeks before I know. Tim

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

I pulled the wc8 and hooked it up on the bench. No noticeable ripple. About 8mV noise which jumped to about 20mV when loading main page on gui. Voltage constant at 9.18v   I added a couple of 1000mfd caps in the box across B+ in, also added a .1mfd across those. Didn't seem to affect the noise...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

Which version would you recommend? I am running 8 normal temp sensor, no humid. Sensors Thanks, Tim

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

No. Good point though! I will pull it out of the wiring closet tomorrow and put the scope on it and check it out. It does get warm in there and that doesn't help the caps any.   Thanks.   by the way, I wonder what an acceptable temperature is for the wc boards inside of an enclosure. The...

Strange numbers and symbols in wc8 gui, partial reboot?

CAI_Support,   No. It just started happening about a month ago or so. The board has been in service for maybe 8 months. Not sure what to try at this point.   Larry,   When ever I open the gui everything is normal. Only when the ISY alerts me that the Pogoplug computer shut down and I go into the...
