ELKRP Remote Programming software upgrade version 1.6.24 is now available from the m1dealer.elkproducts.com website.
Both a full install & update are posted.
IMPORTANT:
The Update will update ONLY versions 1.6.22 and 1.6.23.
The Full Install will update versions 1.6.10 thru 1.6.21.
The ElkRP download page states this clearly.
As before, if they have an older version than 1.6.10, they'll need to perform an interim update. 1.6.16 is also on the website for this purpose.
BECAUSE 1.6.24 is available, the M1XEP 1.6.12 firmware is available once again.
Hopefully, Mac address 00:40:9D-00:00:00 is history now.
Things that have changed in this release:
- Changed the Lighting "Future" flag to "Opt." This flag enables faster transmission of lighting commands when several commands are queued to be sent.
- When importing lighting data, you may select whether to set or leave the Opt flag.
- Elk-M1KP2 and Elk-M1KP3 screens now allow setting key beep volume between 0 (off) and 1 (on).
- Importing Universal Devices ISY Lighting data files with a Network Name other than the default "Network" caused an error and would not import the lighting data. Fixed.
- Corrected a few misspellings on various screens.
- Corrected an issue that caused an error message when updating device firmware and no firmware application BIN files were found in the specified folder.
- Zones, Users, and keypads did not sort correctly in the listview. Fixed by numbering them 001, 002, etc. instead of 1, 2, etc.
- Added a check box to enable AMX DDD Protocol on the M1XEP setup window.
- Found and fixed another cause of Rules Comments getting out of sequence when a Rule with a comment was deleted.
- On the System Report Codes screen, the AC Fail Delay and Auto Test Time boxes did not change color properly after sending or saving. Fixed.
- When browsing for the Firmware Updates folder in Setup->Options, if "Cancel" was selected, the existing selection was cleared. The existing selection is now unaffected by Cancel.- Although Firmware updates cannot be done when connected via modem, viewing firmware versions and enrolling devices can now be done when connected via modem.
- Added Zone Names to the lists of Zone Report Codes (Under Communicator) and Wireless Transmitters (Under Wireless Setup).
- After updating M1XEPs from Bootware 1.1.2 to 1.1.4, you could update the firmware to only 1.2.0. This has been corrected. Firmware 1.2.0 can no longer be selected after updating the bootware to 1.1.4. Only Firmware versions 1.2.2 and later can. This fixed the MAC address being set to 0's.
