Can you adjust how often keyframes are generated in Sage or your encoder config?
If so that can really help with transmission problems.

Well the good news is how nice the picture is going to look when watching DVDs on that plasma. Once you get it installed and set up properly, hopefully this will start to add positive numbers to that score
