    Premise PPC browser

I loaded xbrowser and it didnt render well on my blackberry bold. The pump indeed showed up when using a computer browser using the xbrowser app. However when i used my bold some of the icons didnt show up and it was crunched together (not very descriptive i know). In the end it didnt render...

    Premise PPC browser

Thanks guys. Not sure what xbrowser is but will do my diligence. The pump is really just a UPB appliance module controlling a water pump. I could just use a light icon but prefer the pump icon.

    Premise PPC browser

Using my blackberry bold to control lighting and other items within the house. I just noticed that a pump shows up using the normal premise browser interface but when using ppc browser the pump is absent. Any ideas why this might be the case?

Premise How to assign serial code to object (W800)

I figured out a way to have premise take an input from an w800RF and then have it trigger an action. What i'd like to do is take the logic behind the data and assign it to an object. For example, if premise reads the code 123 from the com port (ie the W800), I want that code to be assigned to...

    Premise Serial Port Read

Thanks guys for the leads. I am able to read the binary data from the comm port now. I now need to take the step of figuring out what the heck to do with that data and using the omni driver as an example. I re-found the link that had me believing that the W800 was sending text. As you may...

    Premise Serial Port Read

Being a hobbyist instead of a programmer puts me at a disadvantage so pardon my basic commentary. JimSpr - I discovered the new class and was attempting to write a script as you had suggested. The problem I had and hence my original post is that I do not know exactly how the data is coming...

    Premise Serial Port Read

I recently acquired an x-10 RF receiver (W800). I am attempting to utilize the receiver to connect to wireless motion and door contacts to act as triggers for firing other functions or to bind to home objects. I have set up a custom device and connected to the serial port for which the w800...

Premise x-10 DS10 compat with Premise?

I have a few DS10 door contacts that I want to use with Premise. Has anyone a solution to directly connect to premise (i.e.- no through an alarm panel like ELK)? I see that Premise has a device driver for the MR26 but I am not entirely sure if this wireless receiver is compataible with the...

Premise Welcome to the Premise Home Control forum

Give me your email address and I can send you my hacked upb drivers. The drivers will recognize the us2-40 switches. I leveraged off of Sam's work.

    Premise Occupancy and Lighting control

I looked at the linked module. Does this work as presented? I cant seem to get it to work. Shouldnt the input be a DATETIME block instead of a TIME block? When I use as is, the sunset/sunrise times are incorrect but are corrected when I add the Date.

    UPB 3-way setup

I dont have upstart in front of me but this is how you should be able to do it. You should be able to use a single tap to control the load (e.g.-light 1) and a double click to control a link (e.g.-light 2). In upstart configure the rocker using the CUSTOM ROCKER mode. For single tap, chose a...

    Premise Floor Plan GUI

Is it possible to have one of those nifty gui's that show light status and other status objects based on the homes actual floor plan in premise? I suspect its possible... I guess the real question is how is this done? -ACB

Hourly Control of Push Buttons on SA US2-40

I dont know the logic capabilities within the M1G but here is one way to conceptually do it. In UpStart, assign a link number to the desired button call it 10 and a different link number to the URF that you are controlling say 20. This way they are disconnected. In UpStart there should be no...
