Any news on Elk 2 way wireless? Any other large 2 way systems?

Thanks for the update. Very frustrating though, as it means it won't be possible to deploy a comprehensive Elk system until the end of 2012, and there aren't really a lot of other options either.

Any news on Elk 2 way wireless? Any other large 2 way systems?

I'm looking for a larger wireless alarm system. It would need to support at least 50 sensors initially, with capacity for at least 100. Strong pluses are available wired inputs as well, and integration with a HA system. It seems like 2 way wireless is the way to go, both for the reliability...

    Neighborhood-wide monitoring

I know this thread's been quiet for a while, but I wanted to see if you've done anything further with the project, and try to answer your last question. I think the way to do this is as you said, get 8-10 key houses that already have broadband to install cameras. But, get each house to buy...

(M1) Any experiences with NX-667 / 60-886-95 Caddx wireless shock sensor?

Window magnetic contact with voltage passing to glass side

Hey all, Does there exist a surface mount window magnet which passes voltage across the gap via the magnet and has contacts on both sides? What I mean is, you attach the wire from the panel to the switch part of the sensor which you stick to the window jamb, and the magnet part sticks to the...

Getting Elk to report out using NextAlarm ABN Broadband adapter

I also use AT&T for NA with no problems. I think the trick is to use a VOIP provider that explicitly supports fax, which AT&T does (it's a free option you can enable). If they support fax, they obviously support modems, so the lowish speed modem on an alarm panel should be no problem.
