This was a long time ago (ten years) but I called AT&T and told them that where we moved, I could not get a cellular signal inside our house and wanted to cancel and switch. They offered to give me one of those amplifiers for free if I stayed with them (I didn't).
Do you power yours with LP gas? My sister is looking at getting one but fueled with diesel (with automatic transfer switch).
How do you like yours through the years (good and bad)?
OK, FYI, these thermostats interface via WiFi. I would highly suggest getting this mount as well, especially if you have a larger hole in the drywall from your old unit as I did.
I installed two Honeywell T9 units for my upstairs and main floor heat pumps. For the upstairs I also purchased a remote temperature sensor as the t-stat was in the hallway and was influenced by the lower level temperatures in the winter. This thermostat can set the feedback temperature to...
Can you use those 'pill' contact sensors and mount something like this?
You may be able to place it against the lip off to the edge and only have a small bit of wire showing. Those pill sensors are very tiny and IMO won't be an eye sore.
You can use the peel and stick backing at first, but...

Thanks for the replies. I don't use any USB or serial ports in the setup that this PC will be used for. For the I/O I'm using Denkovi networked devices and the same for the Z-Wave interface.
I'll post if the price changes during Prime Days.
EDIT: Holy Cow! The price just went up $72...
I'm in need of a computer running HomeSeer 4 only. My requirements are mainly reliability, price range around the $300 mark, and Windows 11 Pro, plus it would be nice if it fit inside a structured wiring cabinet.
I'm thinking of this one for $328...
I've historically went with Samsung TV's over the years. I was thinking of looking into Sony for my next purchase which will be a while as the old 65" is doing fine (had this for about seven years). Please post what you think of your new Bravia as you use it.
From page 5 of the Elk's manual, use VAUX and NEG terminals. I highly suggest using an Elk Power Distribution Module if you have multiple sensors that require 12 volt power distribution.
It's been a looooong time since I interfaced with an Elk M1, but why do you need a rule that fires every second? Could you do the same instead of one second, use five seconds or ??? and adjust the counter values?
