I am new to beacons but have years of experience with the OmniPro. I haven't been able to figure out where to start on setting up beacons and triggers. Any help pointing me to the right forum area or setup area in Space or HAI?

You can program it in settings to not revert to day. I believe the setting is called "unvacated premises"

Agree with Desert. I use the same setup so the lights are on as your pulling in, not after. Wife loves it too

Is Automation studio still supposed to be the programming interface for customizing these screens or is there something new out for them? I finally sat down tonight to play with a 7 and cannot get Studio to see it on the network

I've ran into this problem several times. Just use one side of the stereo output. Forgot which one but one side will give you almost no audio and the other works fine.

Correct Neil, The UPB part I used was not HAI, it was the IO Module by Simply Automated. Works perfect as I think I have used one of them with about 80% of my HAI installs.

That was the main problem with the cam6.6 over the cav6.6. The cam does not have any means to input audio for a page. I actually sold my cam and bought the Cav for that reason even though I don't use the video features of it. You might consider doing that same as i got a decent price off mine...

I've done this a few times. Connecting blocks usually have a 1/8" input for IR and also a hardwire option. Use both. I have several Russound systems that are being fed from the whole house audio system and also the theater to control one set of components.

Just did a couple of similar installs for a customers. We didn't do any Camera or Intercom but we did do sensors for open/close status and also control for open/close. UPB signals work fine over that distance. We used an HAI I/O Module at the gate which handled both status and output contacts...

I am searching for a way to do event based Txt messaging off of my HAI system but have not found a good way to accomplish this. Any ideas? I'm looking to be able to send simple txt based messages for small things like leaving the garage door open or when Certain Temperatures go out of range...

I finally got a reply back from Trace/Xantrex. They suggested I add some motor Capacitors to the Output of my inverter to cut down on the noice level. I did try this and it did not work. Using a small UPB Monitor I can see the noise is really high when the inverter is in the circuit. Without it...

My next step it to try a newer Generation Inverter as they are supposed to be much cleaner outputs. Right now my inverter system is so limited due to the lack of sources that are not effected by the UPB that it does not do much good. Hope to try and new unit and "wish" for better results...

The way we do most of ours is with an Auto A/B Switch. Russound makes them, Sonance makes them, Niles.... They have a master RCA input and a secondary. When it senses audio on the secondary it will switch over for a preset time and then switch back. Makes for a clean install. Jobsite makes...
