Thanks Pete. I have the cable for use with the DB-9 serial connector That is a 4pin/conductor. I need the 6 pin one for the PIM to OPII and will have to make one. I don't think the serial ports on my OPII are RJ45 either. They are smaller like a regular x-10 or phone jack.

So I am leaning towards the fact I do not have the correct cable to connect my HAI PIM to the OPII. I am not able to locate one online and before I make one, can one of you gentlemen please confirm that it is a 6 conductor cable and is wired straight through. Thanks in advance.
