    TM751 or RR501 Transceiver

You haven't heard of the "721"????? It's a hybrid between the 501 and the 751. It "clunks" when you send a 'local' code to the device, but then it sends off smoke signals to let your significant other know that everthing is working correctly. Sorry... Couldn't resist.... I meant the 751...

    TM751 or RR501 Transceiver

I started off years ago with the 501 module and a remote. "Upgraded" to the 721 when the 501 drove me nuts with the "clunk". Just recently retired both of them (or gave them to my brother with a CM11A) and installed a W800RF32. Huge difference and now I can use the security modules too. $$$$...

    Cheap Wired Color Camera

Yes, I think so CTL... It does not say anything about outdoor use. However, the operating temps are a pretty wide range. I would think if you kept it out of direct rain/snow and sunlight, it would probably be o.k. the 960 does have 8 LEDs. -=dtperk

Just got back from a Sam's Club run with the wife and they had a whole skid of these things in the electronics section. http://www.wisecomm.com/wisecomm-oc950.htm I haven't tried it yet (and may not get around to installing it anytime soon), but for $39 and change, I couldn't pass it up...

    Electrical Code Question

Thanks for the welcome master! .... I ran a BBS back in the day and know what a challenge it can be keeping everything running smoothly. Looks like you have a handle on things! (but these days technology and software has come a long way... in my day, I had to draw ANSI screens with "TheDraw"...

    Electrical Code Question

You are correct David. I don't know of any state that allows low voltage with line voltage in the same conduit; and YES, you will get interference from the line voltage "spilling" into the low voltage stuff especially if they run in parallel to each other. That's what I would do. Run your...

    Electrical Code Question

Normally, pulling 110v electric through an open (exposed) area needs to be in conduit. You should check your electrical codes for your area for details on the type of conduit. Some will allow plastic (PVC) and some require metal. I'm not familiar with the term "BX", but I'll assume you mean...
