Question, when I change the IP address on my pc from 192.168.1.X (what router range shows) to 192.168.0.x (old ip) this means I would no longer have internet access on my laptop correct? How do I connect to the XEP with no internet connetion? Will I be able to connect using COM3 option?

Keypad 1 also says lost communication

Ok I was able to initiate setting the keypad as address 2 but it says lost comm now. Why would it lose communication?

My gas detector model is Macurco GD2. Don't see anything about being or not compatible with the M1. Are they ok to connect as NO. But I need to check for a resistor right?

What model you suggest I get then. Would any from 12 volt 4 wire from aartech do?
