The Schlage Link System gives you flexibility without the outlay for Software or Hardware to get started with the automation as you were talking about earlier. If you add cameras no problem If you like what you can do with it and want to upgrade at some point to Homeseer or Vera or something...

Intermatic ha22 zwave stick and server 2008

The Z-Stick is an inclusion controller allowing one to work around without a computer and add Z-Wave devices. The Lite version is not an inclusion controller thus need a computer and some sort of software to be able to add devices to a Z-Wave network - the same as the HA22 USB Interface

Welcome to Cocoontech - another option you might want to look at is a Schlage Z-Wave Deadbolt Lock Kit comes with Lock, Lamp module and bridge and you can add devices as you need to. Cost is $8.98 a month with no contract. If you want to upgrade down the road everything the only item you would...

Intermatic ha22 zwave stick and server 2008

Have not seen 64bit drivers for the HA22 USB Stick - there a couple of issues with the stick(firmware is ancient and not upgradeable) and Intermatic has been out of the Z-Wave game for awhile. Time to look for a firmware upgradeable stick like the Aeon Labs Z-Stick ;)

    Schlage Z wave lock

The Schlage works well with Vera 2 - so do the KwikSet Locks. Depending on what your else you are trying to accomplish you might want to look at the $8.99 monthly fee which would be only $90.00(2 months free) for the first year. B)

Monster IWD 600 dimmers (like Leviton Vizia RF) - $30

Monster Devices were oemed from Leviton - they were manufactured a number of years ago when Leviton was producing Vizia RF - 9.6 Kbps and running a 4.21 firmware at best

    elk + z-wave, still need hand-held programmer?

You need a handheld controller like the ZTH100 or the VRCPG-BSG to add Z-Wave to the M1G as the VRC0P-1LW is a secondary controller.

    Z-Wave Locks Question

You will have to update each lock individually. You can add, delete and update user codes with Vera or HomeSeer remotely(web interface) - the reason Schlage only allows temporary codes from the the smarthphone interface is security. B)

    Z-Wave Locks Question

Welcome to the Journey this has been a great place to gather information and share experiences. You can do this with the Schlage Link software. In fact you can only setup temporary access codes remotely. Kwikset doesn't have software like Schlage. When you say remotely what exactly do you mean...

    Enumerating Z-wave nodes with VRC0P

Welcome to the journey this has been a great place to gather information and share experiences. What Handheld remote are you using as the Primary in your network? The primary assigns a node # to the device when it is added to the network. If you are adding then deleteing devices or resetting the...

    Thermostat Indecisivness

The 2Gig Themostat needs the 4.52 or 5.02 z-wave firmware to work. One of the best features of the 2Gig is the fact that it doesn't need a 24V common to work - it will run on battery power B) All other thermostats currently do. The Trane is an oem version of the TZ43 - if you don't need remote...
