I believe this is the sensor-GE Security 3005-M Roller Plunger Contact, Brown.The repairman who came by said these were unique to Westec and were no longer available. Is that just a bunch of bs to sell a new system or will this contact work? I went ahead and ordered one on Amazon.

I have a Westec 3000 system in my house installed about 25 years ago and need a door sensor. My alarm company claims they can not repair it and I need to replace the system. I can't stand the idea of replacing the entire system when all I need is a $5 part. Any ideas where I can find part...
