yup! been using them for a couple years now. aside from the occasional service interruption that requires me to reboot my phone ~1-2 times/year, its flawless.

  ^^ this! I ran their supervised on ubuntu for a long time until they started warning that it was an "unsupported" OS, then I switched to debian and have had zero problems. 

  Fire investigator and insurance investigator could never say definitively. The insurance person was an electrical engineer and forensic investigator, and an all around super bright guy. The setup was working for ~3 months before catching fire, which is the crazy part.

  I was using a 16VAC transformer and chime. This was within spec (according to Nelly's). The fire was extremely traumatic, but I caught it <5 minutes of it burning thanks to my Elk smoke detector, so most of the damage was from smoke/soot.

fwiw, I'd be careful with these doorbells - mine started on fire. The only thing the insurance investigator could ever turn up was that it was a faulty product.  edit: I should add, mine was a rebranded product by Nelly's

  Unfortunately, even if this did work, I don't have one. 

  Hm, I may have a backup of the config, but it may be a little old. I'll take a look at factory resetting the M1 in the elk documentation.

  No phone connected, i'm doing monitoring over IP.    When ElkRP finds it, it shows the IP, MAC, and Port 2601
