Would this be a good place to list my used Elk system to sell? Don't laugh, but we decided to go with a more idiot proof 2gig panel. I was wondering if it's best to try to list it as a whole or break it up into individual components. How much could I expect to get? Any direction on this...

Is there a way to learn a tx ID from a sensor using the M1G, NX-548E, and ElkRP? My sensor is a recessed installation, and unfortunately I don't have the ID written down. Thank you.

So analog over GSM? I guess for someone who hasn't purchased a cell option, wireless IP would be the way to go eh? Just seems more robust and future proof. What is your lag time between dial tone and signal sent? 10 seconds or so probably won't make a difference, but you never know I guess...

So is this IP monitoring? Or is it like your system is placing a call over a landline? Just wondering about the lag and being able to monitor/control your system as well as viewing video feeds from your home. Or do you have GSM monitoring just for alarms, and IP for everything else? Thanks

$150 is expensive? And wouldn't certain jammers knock out cell transmissions as well as wireless contact signals? I would think an experienced thief would at least cover these bases as well as cut every cable in site. Then again, I'm looking at this as an outsider new to the DIY thing...

Thank you Spanky! OK, so for the IP monitoring naysayers, how would you shoot down IP monitoring over wireless internet like WIMAX or Clearwire? Best of both worlds right? Nothing to cut, I missing something here?

What about cell jammers? My Cable line is very secure coming into the house, so it's security does not concern me. I love the instant feedback IP monitoring provides and the instant connection to the monitoring station. Now I just need to find a damn monitoring station! :o ANYONE?
