Sure wish this was a reality.  A nice, pre-made VM with a database and web interface to log, graph and analyze data from the Elk M1.  I tried to implement Threadhead's solution, but I am starting from scratch with perl and never really got it going.   lz

The above mentioned video on how to extend logging to other classes is not available.  I would like to log the status of the HVAC modes: heat/cool/auto, fan mode, heat and cool set points, etc.   Has anyone done this or can someone point me to a tutorial on how to do this.   Thanks, lz

Does Premise offer device based data logging? I would like to be able to log by time interval (temperature/energy) or by a changed state (security sensors). Ideally, the logging data would end up in a database of some sort. Thanks, lz

The board sounds like a great design and should give you what you need as far as measurement. I would suggest at least 4 CT inputs, this would allow for a standard 320A service with two 200A panels. Personally, I would like to see about 8 CT inputs. Then you could meter 2 panels and 4...

Last conference I went to, they had a Wii at one of the booths running Wii sports, a big screen and some of the sports accessories. That booth was never empty. Don't remember what it was selling, but it definitely drew the people in.

That is exactly why I stopped purchasing Insteon. In my view, they no longer have any cost or technical advantages.

I have a limited Insteon installation using only two SignalLincs and 2-200 AMP panels.

I built and wired my house, so the this was done from day one. Very, very useful information. Nice job those who have done it after the fact, much more work.
