Should also add that we have hyperterminal saving to a text file but this is only able to be accessed by Excel once hyperterminal has paused sending data to the file.

Hyperterminal DDE Server from DSC alarm output?

Hi Ben - can you provide the correct link? We pulled the card out of the DSC unit today and it is indeed a IT-100 interface card, so this application could be useful if it can be found :) Dan - fair to say we would struggle with writing VBS code, we are ok with the cables and nuts/bolts, but...

That's a whole lot of power usage...

I am insanely jealous of your guys per KWH rates, here in New Zealand, my domestic 80A single phase supply rate is currently 18.3c/per KWH.....and its about to get worse when our Government signs us all up to the Carbon Emissions Trading Scheme, making it costly for coal fired electricity...

    A Tenecmcharts question...

Hi Guys, Tenholde, that has sorted the problem and tenecmcharts now works superbly on my Vista laptop. The issue was the same as the other users, I was missing the Arial Regular font. I have no idea how this happened, but installing arial.ttf to the fonts folder has cured the problem. Thanks...

    A Tenecmcharts question...

Hi Guys, I have the Brultech ECM1240 installed and experimentally charting our 240VAC 80A incoming supply and a 20A subpanel supply. It works tremendously well and when coupled with Tenholde's excellent tenecmserver application it is a great addition to my home automation and monitoring setup...

A big thanks to Paul and Brultech!

Hi guys, You may have read on these forums about the problems I have had with my ECM1220.h unit. The unit itself actually performs well, but due to a USB fault, it has never been able to reliably communicate with my Automation PC. The fact that I am in Wellington, New Zealand (east of...

Unfortunately I share a similar experience, both with connectivity issues with the ECM unit and with support from Brultech.
