I've done some more research (ok, reading many posts while drinking beer) and have formed an opinion that the vbox is pretty worthwhile. I may just have to puchase a mobo, ram, videocard, hd, and vbox to see what kind of fun you are all having! -Mike

Rod, I haven't purchased *any* of the hardware yet. I was initially leaning toware a via epia motherboard, because of the low cost and efficiency, but am starting to think of a AMD based motherboard. I haven't formed any strong opinions yet, and any purchases will likely be in 3-4 months...

DavidL, I thought about that. Not sure I want to go that route. I also looked at 3rd party XP Unlimited as the means to achieve thin clients. Not sure I want to go that route, either. I was caught off guard re: the screen resolution. I didn't expect that. I'm still researching options. -Mike
