Maybe I'm missing something, but why not simply install a GFCI (GFI) outlet into your eave location? I can't see why having a micro controller in front of that outlet would matter, and the micro controller should control a GFCI outlet the same as a standard (non-GFCI) outlet.

If you access the camera from Ethernet, the DHCP address might be from the wireless card of the camera responding too, meaning that you may be seeing both a wired entry as well as a wireless entry. Or at least that's what I thought could be happening.
