That's cool! I can disassemble my old laptop, then find frame for the screen and digitizer (approx. $30-50 on ebay) and will get nice 15.6" touchscreen.
Is there any other touch screen displays that works with HAI. I saw some HP 15" and 17" displays with embeded windows xp. Ili oneTouch is very expensive but it looks like all-in-one pc, so i assume it is possible to use any gateway, hp, or sony all-in-one pcs after some software modifications...
Thanks for your input, Picta!
I knew i did something wrong.
I use rs-485 port on omni board and RTS controller. And it seems to work better than rs-232 connection.
Is there any action that will give me some delay between commands?
Hi there!
I have problem that i can not solve without you guys. I have installed HAI OmniPro II controller and Somfy RTS 16ch interface that i already programmed for all my 16 shades. Also i've created messages and buttons in HAI PCAccess to control all those shades with Haiku.
So my problem is...
The problem with dimmers status is solved!
Problem was with cable that connects PIM to Omni board. This cable came with HAI PIM... Now i see dimmers status changes almost immediately :)
Jeff, one more time thank you for your hint to check cable.
I'll check my old serial pim today one more time. But i use same 'rs232 to usb' adapter cable plus extension cable 'rs232 to rj12' for HAI gen II PIM and for old PCS PIM with real com port. So i don't think that problem is in that cable.
BTW in another upb network old pcs pim work without...
I have two more pims, but one of them is usb pcs pim (can't find right driver for windows 7) and another one has serial port. It is first generation pim and wont work when i connect it to gen II network, constantly disconnects from network.
Haiku gets status of dimmers status from omni board, so Haiku itself is working. My board is not getting status update from dimmers, or dimmers is not sending that status to omni. I am trying to get status of dimmer if it is On or Off.
In annotation for one of new Haiku releases i saw that now Haiku supports Somfy shades. Lupinglade, could you explain how it works?
Now i use buttons with messages to control all my shades. It is works but it is hard to find right 'button' in a list. Is there any way to separate those buttons by...
Merry Christmas!
Still have no feedback from all of my dimmers in PCAccess or Haiku. I can control them change scenes and see status but only when PCAccess or Haiku sends commands to switches.
