Worthington has the HAL PCI Vioce Portal Modem for $64. Will this work properly with Homeseer or should I wait for the new Homeseer PCI model?

Exactly what do you want to do with this modem and Homeseer? Use Homeseer phone (answering machine, controls via telephone keypad, etc...) or just simply get caller ID information and display/store/announce it? I would like to utilize all of the available features of Homeseer ....eventually...

What makes those modems different? What features do I need for Homeseer that a run of the mill $20 voice modem doesn't have.
