Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

Looks like it will do the trick. I will give it a shot when I get home today.

Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

:( I take it that without instant status feedback, there's no way for the VRC0P to receive button presses from the scene controller. Which means that I can't have the scene controller trigger a Premise scene...

Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

The scene controllers are, to the best of my knowledge, Leviton RZCS4's (Vizia RF legacy scene controllers) with Monster name in the firmware. I'm going to optimize routing with the Vizia Installer Tool tonight, and check the routing of the scene controller to the VRC0P. I also have two...

Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

Something is wrong..... I have included one of my scene controllers into the network and attempted to associate it with the VRC0P. Node ID of the controller is 26. Node ID of VRC0P is 22. I sent the following commands, one at a time using the ViziaRFCommand property: N26SS133,1,1,22...

Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

Ah, so it's more complicated than just associating a switch with the VRC0P in ThinkEssentials. Time to break out Putty and going all serial on the VRC0P.

    Premise Premise Z-Wave support?

D-Link SharePort It's actually pretty easy. :) That said, actually using a USB interface is probably a lost cause in Premise, especially compared to having all the technical details abstracted away by the VRC0P. After all, thanks to the VRC0P, the Vizia driver is essentially a fancy text...

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

I have a few preliminary results to report about the DirecTV driver. I'm using a DirecTV HR24 DVR with an IOGear USB to RS232 adapter. I couldn't get it running for the LONGEST time until I remembered to set the serial server's port speed to 9600 baud. Do'h. :) 1) All major functionality...

Premise Vizia RF+ 4 button controllers with switch and VRC0P

I have a few Monster Illuminessence IWC600 keypads (OEM Leviton RZ RZCS4 scene controllers) that I installed, but haven't associated or programmed yet. I'll associate one tonight, and see if I can get it talking to Premise. Since Premise talks to the VRC0P, I'm assuming I have to associate the...

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

It's not working yet. DirecTV HR24 is really picky about USB to serial adapters, and neither one I own works. I'm going to pick up a supposedly compatible one later tonight and will report back.

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

MSCVRT71.DLL is Microsoft property.. while it IS freely available on the internet, and gets installed by various commercial software packages, it's still a little iffy to actually have it avaialble for download.

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

FIXED!!!!! Short version: The DirecTV driver requires MSVCR71.DLL to be in C:\Windows\System folder. Long version: So I thought to myself, "Well, what does it MEAN when a DLL can't load a subsystem?" Perhaps there's a subsystem outside of the DLL that the DLL needs. Perhaps it's a...

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

Thank you for testing the addon for me! I just fired up my test Premise environment (Windows XP Home SP3, Admin user account). The computer has no antivirus and the firewall is turned off. I uninstalled Premise, and deleted the Premise folder. I then rebooted, reinstalled Premise, and...

Premise Unable to start Damon Deen's DirecTV driver

Hi guys, I have just downloaded Damon Deen's "Various Drivers" package (http://www.cocoontech.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14446&st=0&p=122565&) to try out RS-232 control of my DirecTV receiver. I unzipped the various DLLs into the C:\Premise\SYS\bin\devices folder, restarted the Premise...

    Zwave compatibility

FWIW, RZC0P1 and VRC0P are the same thing except for the label. The GE/Jasco remote makes for a lousy primary controller because it was designed with GE equipment in mind only (i.e. dimmers and switches). It's artificially limited to just one thermostat, and its behavior i you try to add...

    Home Automation PC (HAPC)

Windows 7 Embedded 32-bit. About 1/4th the bulk of the full Windows 7, which is important on 32 gigabyte boot drive, supports SSD's natively, and between it and Premise server, using ~1gb of RAM right now.
