Simply Automated US1-40 Dimmer with OMNI Pro

SAI made great products.  I’ve used them for 10 or 12 years (60 devices active) with no failures.  Unfortunately I think they have gone quiet.  The website URL is now suspended, they don’t return calls or emails, and my local dealer hasn’t carried their product for a year or more.  Really too...

    What happened to UPB!?!?

I been trying to buy some UPB devices (specifically UFD-30’s) but my local supplier (Aartech, as I’m in Canada) can’t get them.  So I phoned Simply-Automated but their voice mailbox was full.  Then I found them at SmartHome Products, who accepted my online order, sent me a e-receipt but never...

    Water Softener/Tannin Removal Controller Issue

My issue is a bit different. The softness of the water is not bothering us. Sometimes we notice it's a bit harder than at other times. The real issue is the tannins because the water turns a "tea-like" color. It's still potable, but it is a bit ugly and will eventually stain the white...

    Water Softener/Tannin Removal Controller Issue

Thanks to both DELInstallations and RAL for your input. I'll check the demo unit I have to see if the clock is the only setting lost. I've shortened the regen time on the demo so it should be easy to see if a long outage causes a full reset. Also, I'm in agreement with RAL that Meter Delayed...

    Water Softener/Tannin Removal Controller Issue

I have 3 pieces of water purification equipment in my pump room (long story).  A water softener, peroxide injector, and a tannin remover.  Each of these has an IWT-165 controller (Independent Water Tech).  They all do their backwash activity at different times under different conditions (volume...

    UPB API/SDK?

Rappa ... Did you ever find. .net API? I'm looking for any software to help slurp up UPB messages from my USB based PIM.

Odd behavior with UPB switch in *one* spot

:D Well, Cocoonut, I have read this advice before in other blogs.  This time I followed your suggestion exactly and was able to figure out that the phase coupler was not going to fix my problem.  Fortunately I have a detailed map of my 96 (give or take) breakers and was able to work backwards...

Odd behavior with UPB switch in *one* spot

Thank you Desert_AIP.  It will take me a bit of time to try this, but I will (not sure if I have spare phase couplers kicking around ... lots of parts, so maybe).  I especially like your comment on viewing the setup "holistically".  It is very good advice.  Thanks.

Odd behavior with UPB switch in *one* spot

I have a similar problem (at least I think its similar).  I have 38 devices,  mostly switches, all of which I programmed using UpStart and all of which are still in their original locations.  I say this so it's clear that I have communicated with them in the past.  As my UPB network has expanded...
