I'm interested in this lock as well, but it would be my first attempt with z-wave. Well, with automation period... So I'm trying to figure out what to use to control it all.

These are great questions that I'm asking myself too, but it looks like you are not getting replies. I see ELK all over the place, but a solution like this seems like what I'm looking for. What are we missing here guys as noobs??

My question is, my house is new and NOT pre-wired. How do I integrate all of this stuff without having to run a bunch of new wires? Also, I need to get a PC then to dedicate to the system?
