Yes, this sounds normal for an unregulated power supply. If you don't exceed the current rating of the supply the voltage should be at or above the nameplate voltage on the supply you are using. If you think it's dropping to low under load you might get a supply with a higher current rating.

Does anyone know of a version of My Webcontrol or My Robot that will work on Android ver 5.1 ? I was using ver 1.0 on my old Droid Razr and it worked well for me but the battery got so bad I had to upgrade and now the old version won't run on my new phone. Thanks

rossw,    I like your method of controlling direction with the SPDT relays and it's advantages. I have been using 1 DPDT and one other contact for power for the job but I will change over to your method. Thanks !   smmaxxx

After randomly locking up my network, I pulled it and have already gotten another one.

After encountering networking problems with this particular WC8, I have to get off my network FOREVER.

When I thought I could not return it, I cut the trace to the green LED to stop the current drain and added a LED on an output to flash and let me know the program is running.  I will get it in the mail, Monday.   Thanks again, Max
