Purchased 4 Elk-6010 fobs.  They worked great.  Put them in a drawer for about 6 weeks and when I needed to put them into service they were completely inoperative.  No lights.  Like the batteries were dead.  Wondering if anybody has had similar experience?

Have installed a M1 to replace an old alarm system that is no longer supported and the service provider is not familiar with the M1 so need to look for an alternate source.  Can anyone recommend a substitute??  Present source is "Act Now Alarms" in Michigan.
