Thanks for the replies.. I think I was just trying to over engineer (think) it. 

I have an omnipro system, and I now need to monitor whether or not the septic grinder pump alarm outside is going off, and alarm before it becomes a problem inside.     Any suggestions??  Thanks in advanced.
