Been using a little netgear gig switch lately and can only say good things. I have a 24 port linksys switch that I picked up used with a few bad ports but other than those it runs fine. Run a couple of the old wrt54gl with ddwrt on them and they've been up and running for a few years without any problems. Personally I'd stay away from dlink, had a few bad b routers back in the day and a problematic switch that's left a bad taste. Though I did pick up a newer 5 port gig switch from Dlink that hasn't seen much usage yet.
